Open Doors: Parent Focus

A real people, serving a real God, making a real difference. At the heart of the Open Doors: Parent Focus project is the desire to see the isolation and desperation experienced by many ethnic minority women and asylum seekers in East London broken down.

Many women in these groups are effectively excluded from mainstream family provision due to language barriers.

By putting faith into practice and building relationships Open Doors: Parent Focus is able to help change lives.

Open Doors: Parent Focus offers accessible parenting workshops with a free crèche combined with English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) support.

The project equips parents to realise their potential, recognise their value as parents in the community and understand they can make a positive change in their environment.
