The 15 standards which make up the Charter include commitments to
- Serve and respect all people regardless of their gender, marital status, race, ethnic origin, religion, age, sexual orientation or physical and mental capability.
- Create an environment where clients, volunteers and employees are encouraged and enabled to realise their potential.
- Do all that can be done to ensure that we are not over-dependent on any one source of funding.
The guide explores each of the 15 standards, chapter by chapter, from both a biblical and a practical viewpoint. Each of the 15 chapters contains a worksheet with examples and questions designed to help you think about and act upon the implications of the standard as well as providing further sources of advice and information.
