How to run community projects that are accessible and distinctively Christian

In a diverse, multi-faith society, it is important for your community project to be both accessible to people of all backgrounds and yet retain a distinctive Christian identity. In the light of new employment legislation, it is also important for churches and Christian organisations to identify which posts require Christians and demonstrate the reasons why.

Whether you are a new, small church project or a well established organisation, this one-day practical workshop will help you:

  • Understand and articulate your distinctive Christian identity
  • Develop an ethos that ensures your community project is accessible to all
  • Develop sound employment practices that authentically reflect your organisational ethos
  • Identify and justify which posts within your organisation require Christians
