Projects Transforming Communities

Across Wales, projects inspired by the Christian faith are having a transformational effect on local communities.  Faithworks celebrates and promotes this work in order to encourage and empower other churches and Christians to rediscover their role at the heart of their community.

Funding Information for Wales

Faithworks provides information on a wide range of funding sources. Some funds are available specifically for projects operating in Wales. These include:

The Morgan Foundation

Rural Regeneration Grant Scheme

Volunteering in Wales Fund - 2009/2010

Awards for All Wales awards grants of between £500 and £5,000 for people to take part in heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.  Awards for All Wales is independent of the England scheme and is supported by Big Lottery Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund.  Applications are received at any time.
