17/03/2010 - Healthcare on the Brink

Charities from across Britain came to join the debate at Charities Parliament on one of the elections most live issues: Healthcare, and more specifically care for the elderly.

The Rt Hon Andy Burnham left the audience with a call to action: "Make me an offer. Tell me what you are bringing to the table. Then we can start a dialogue between the Department of Health, the Voluntary Sector and Faith organisations." The Charities Parliament intends to take up Mr Burnham's offer, rsvp@charitiesparliament.org.uk if you would like to be involved.
