More about our venue

Oasis delivers youth, education, healthcare and housing projects both in the UK and overseas. Their work in Enfield is a great example of 360° theology and community engagement.

Working in close partnership with other local voluntary and statutory agencies and churches, Oasis saw a 10% decrease in crime and a 14% decrease in anti-social behaviour within the first two years of their work.

The Oasis Enfield ‘hub’ currently consists of an Academy, a Children’s Centre, a church, several local youth clubs and a youth centre with a number of community workers living in the immediate vicinity. Working together with the Enfield Primary Care Trust they also plan to  build and develop a health centre next to the Academy.

The conference will provide the opportunity to see what projects like this and others from around the country, working with families, refugees, children, the elderly, the homeless and marginalised - have achieved, as they work together with churches, schools, local authorities and police to address the needs of  individuals and communities.

“Thanks to our partnerships with Oasis and
close working relationships with individual youth workers,
we are more successful in making life safer for
young people in Enfield Lock”
Sergeant Dick Whitehouse from Enfield Lock Safer Neighbourhood Team
