London / Health Issues, Policy and Solutions: A focus on health equality
Infant Mortality rates are highest in Pakistani and Caribbean communities Black Men are three times more likely to get prostate cancer than White men Statistics show Black and Minority ethnic people find access to health services unsatisfactory.

FaithAction and the Race Equality Foundation, strategic partners of the Department of Health, are hosting this event on 19th January 2010 to explore these issues and better understand what can be done to ensure better health for all.

This event is for any organisation working with black and minority ethnic communities.

Guest speakers:

  • Barry Mussenden, The Deputy Director for Policy and Strategy Directorate from the Department of Health
  • And representatives from the Department of Health Strategic Partners
