2008-9 Awards Sponsors

In 2009 the Faithworks Awards are being sponsored by Anthony Collins Solicitors, Spurgeons, Oasis UK and Kingdom Bank.

About the Sponsors

Anthony Collins Solicitors advises not-for-profit organisations, local authorities, public sector bodies, businesses and individuals throughout the UK around seven themes which represent the outworking of its mission and the focus for delivering services to its clients: Adult Health & Social Care, Children & Young People, Entertainment & Leisure, Enterprise, Housing, Transforming Communities and Faith Communities.

The firm uses the experience and insight gained from advising vulnerable individuals to deliver a more service-user orientated approach to the provision of services for its corporate clients which include many leading national and local providers of adult health and social care services.

Founded in 1973, Anthony Collins Solicitors now has more than 250 staff and a national client base. Its ethos is deeply rooted in the community principle, which revolves around a distinctive values-centred relationship based approach in dealings with clients, staff and fellow professionals alike.  Clients are valued for their individual needs, goals and aspirations, and staff for their talents, passions and commitment.

In many ways it is not what the firm does which really marks it out, but how it is done.  Delivery is characterised by creativity, commitment and a sense of community both internally, as a staff and partner team, and with our clients, in making a difference to them and the communities of which they are a part and which they serve.

Spurgeons Network is a national membership scheme that links together and resources churches and Christians involved in providing services to children and young people in their local community.  It aims to support the growing number of churches across the UK that want to work with children and young people and help them do it excellently.  The Network draws on Spurgeon’s expertise and infrastructure as a national charity, making this available to churches and individuals involved in similar work.  It offers newsletters, training events, advice and support to help negotiate the increasingly complex world of children’s services.

Spurgeons Network is part of Spurgeons, a children’s charity with 140 years experience of working with children and young people. Spurgeons currently delivers a range of community based services in partnership with local authorities, statutory funders and other charities in a number of regions across England.
