Faithworks provides up to date information on funding sources. Funds that are available specifically for projects operating in Scotland are listed below

The Souter Charitable Trust

Faithworks Awards 2008-9
The 2009 awards programme has 3 categories.  The recipient project in each category will receive £5,000 and shortlisted projects in each catagory will be awarded between £100-£500, donated by Kingdom Bank. This years award categories are The Community Excellence Award: Adult Health and Social Care, The Improving the Lives of Children and Young People Award and The Community Inclusion Award.  For more information click here.

Growing funds

Awards for All Scotland
Awards grants of between £500 and £5,000 for people to take part in heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.  Awards for All Scotland is independent of the England scheme and is supported by Big Lottery Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund. Applications are received at any time. The Kelly Family Trust
This trust will fund a range of community and social welfare projects however preference is given to those operating in Scotland. For more information contact armstrong@learmonth9.freeserve.co.uk

Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland
Grants of up to £10,000 are available specifically for Scottish based local initiatives from the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland. To find out more go to http://www.ltsbfoundationforscotland.org.uk/index.asp?tm=11 or call 0870 902 1201.

The Robertson Trust

Women's Fund For Scotland
The Women’s Fund for Scotland (WFS) is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls across Scotland. The Fund raises money from individuals and organisations, which is then distributed through grants to charities and community groups working with and for women. The fund offers small grants with awards of £250 to £1,000 or main grants, awards of £1,000 to £5,000. For more information click here.
