• provide awareness of the need to ensure that staff and volunteers are safe from allegations of abuse and that vulnerable adults are kept safe.
• enable voluntary organisations to produce their own in-house vulnerable adult protection policy.
• provide voluntary organisations with information and training materials to enable them to train staff and volunteers in their organisation.
