Faith works in… Bath - At 15 years old Jo Dolby had a vision to see the church embrace the growing number of young skateboarders. Having realised the only way this would happen was by setting it up herself, she did, and less than 10 years on this is a reality. With God firmly at the centre of all they do, Jo now leads One Eighty and various other projects that have been developed as a response to the needs of the skaters. People with issues including divorce, abortion, bereavement and exhaustion have all sought their help. A support group for parents of children with special needs, a weekly drop in for the homeless, youth work including football leagues, X-Factor style creative arts competitions, a café and more. Faith works in... Eastbourne - The Shinewater Shaftesbury Centre offers a range of free services to the community of Shinewater including debt advice, counselling and help with benefit claims.
