Awards Sponsors

This year the Faithworks Awards are sponsored by Spurgeons, Oasis UK, Congregational and the Faithworks Membership.

This year you can sponsor an award by giving as little as £5.00!

The Faithworks Members Award for Community Commitment will be raised through donations from the Faithworks Movement.

We hope to raise £5,000 from the generous donations of Faithworks Members and Supporters.  The money raised will go to a project that is motivated by  Christian faith to serve people in need within the local community despite limited resources.  The award will be given to a project that has an annual turnover of less than £25,000 per year and is managed and run on a voluntary basis.

This money will make a real difference to a vital community project and the people that they serve. If you would like to be part of sponsoring this award, please click here

Delegates of the Faithworks Conference in November will be invited to decide upon the the recipient of the Members Community Commitment Award.

Spurgeons is a national children’s charity founded 140 years ago, with a distinctly Christian ethos.  They currently have over 100 projects caring for children and young people, many of them working in partnership with churches and Christian organisations.

Spurgeons Network is a national membership scheme that links together and resources Christians involved in providing services to children and young people in their local community.  It aims to support the growing number of churches across the UK that want to work with children and young people and help them do it excellently.  The Network draws on Spurgeon’s expertise and infrastructure as a large national charity, making this available to churches and individuals involved in similar work.  It offers newsletters, conferences, mentoring, training events and a range of partnership options to help churches negotiate the increasingly complex world of children’s services.
