Martyn Joseph and Stewart Henderson to launch Faithworks Building TRUST campaign (08/04)

To celebrate the launch of the Faithworks Building TRUST Campaign, Steve Chalke will be hosting an inspirational evening of music and poetry on the evening of Saturday 4th September at Christ Church & Upton in central London.

Building TRUST: The Concert will see highly acclaimed singer/songwriter Martyn Joseph and renowned poet Stewart Henderson lending their voices to the campaign and performing material with their own forms of powerful social commentary.

Together with Steve Chalke, the artists will be addressing the issue of how the Church can recapture the trust of the public and how trust can be rebuilt within society.

For further information about Building TRUST: The Concert and to buy tickets, priced £7, visit www.faithworks.info/trust  or phone 0207 450 9031.

The concert will also see the launch of the Building TRUST campaign, which seeks to help churches regain the trust of both the public and of Government by engaging more deeply with their communities. As well as ‘Trust - A Radical Manifesto’, a book written by Steve Chalke to be published in early September, the campaign will include a nationwide tour of churches to look at how the Church can rebuild trust at a local level.
